Silver Monogram Pumpkin

Standard

This is a cool pumpkin I wanted to show you how to make…

All you need is a pumpkin, silver spray, thumb tacks, and a stencil of anything.

First, I spray my pumpkin.

Next, after the paint dries, I put my stencil onto the pumpkin and put the thumb tacks following the stencil shape.

Then I take them all out to remove the stencil and put the tacks back in the same holes. And I have my pumpkin!

Goodbye summer :(

Standard

I love summer alot and my most favorite thing is the cold lemonade! The color is wonderful and the flavor is indescribable. I love the sweetness and then the after taste where the tang is still on your tongue…..Yum! I used a bunch of different jars which looks really nice. This is the yummy recipe I used!

Perfect Lemonade Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 cup sugar (can reduce to 3/4 cup)

1 cup water (for the simple syrup)

1 cup lemon juice

2 to 3 cups cold water (to dilute)

METHOD

1 Make simple syrup by heating the sugar and water in a small saucepan until the sugar is dissolved completely.

2 While the sugar is dissolving, use a juicer to extract the juice from 4 to 6 lemons, enough for one cup of juice.

3 Add the juice and the sugar water to a pitcher. Add 3 to 4 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes. If the lemonade is a little sweet for your taste, add a little more straight lemon juice to it.

I took this picture to show you the two caps I made!

Cupcake Cake!

Standard

This cake is a combination of all my favorites…… my favorite color green, my favorite type of cake which is strawberry, my favorite type of sprinkles the circle ones…….. This is a simple cake. What you do is you get any image you want. For example, I used a cupcake picture. Then you take wax paper and lay it on your picture. You need a decorator’s disposable bag or zip lock bag, and you cut a tiny hole at the tip (Bernadette says about a size 1). Then place piping gel (I used the one by Wilton which can be found at pretty much any craft store in the baking aisle 🙂 ) and trace your drawing with the gel. Now you pick it up lay it on your cake take a paint brush and brush very lightly on the wax paper. After that you take the wax paper off carefully and you have your print! Then you outline it with icing!
